Fione & Harrace’s western wedding dinner in Hong Kong
Since we will be having a Chinese menu for our Malaysia wedding dinner, we decided to opt for something different in Hong Kong. We had a spread of fusion Western & Asian food:-
* fresh oysters
* snow crab
* red shrimp
* sushi
* wild mushroom soup
* and more list of food choices
The dessert bar was absolutely divine with tiramisu, black forest, mango mousse cake, french pastries and more.
As we loved seafood, we ensured that there was a wide range of seafood dishes, and to add some Malaysian taste to it, we also had Nasi Briyani. The food of the event was prepared by the Royal Plaza Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui.
Too be frank, as the bride & groom, we didn’t get much chance to eat, and only had 1 round of food. Wished to have eaten more!
Beverages served included fresh orange juice, red wine, white wine, and of course Moet & Chandon champagne. Here we are, with our wedding officiant, solicitor Bilan Mak.

As our guests were from all different parts of the world, including Algeria, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and more, we read out our marriage vows in 2 languages. The groom, Harrace read in Cantonese, while as the bride (who doesn’t read Chinese), i read mine in English.
Here we are posing with our marriage certificate

For my wedding gown, i had the bridal tiara, with the bridal veil. Pearl pieces with diamantes were the main jewelry worn with my Eric Choong bridal dress.
More photos will be coming out these couple of days, so check back soon.

Thanks Nay Min… I didn’t have enough time to slim down for this round, and was so lucky that my dress was flowy so i could hide more meat, haha.
Will be posting in more photos & videos these couple of days, so check back soon.

Wow, this was news to me… Congrats to you both Fione & Harrace… You two will make good partners both in business and life.
I won’t claim to know you personally, but it’s nice of you, Fione to share this precious part of your life with the whole world. You two are Malaysia’s inspirations!
Nasir,
Thanks for the wishes. I’ve been priviledged to be able to hold 2 weddings, and learnt from my first wedding planning mistakes, to ensure that the next one in KL will be smoother.
I hear that lots of new married couples are spending tonnes of money to plan their ultimate wedding, but i think it’s not about how much you spent. What matters is how both parties play a part in a new “project” like this, that brings the bride & groom closer together.
Will bring in more videos, and photos to the site soon! I just finished another photo shoot in Kuala Lumpur, and it has turned out amazing to have KLCC and KL Train Station in the scenes.
Rgds, Fione
