Hmm... I'm no nutritional expert, but I thought that seafoods increase activeness for our body, and we'd end up wasting off the extra energy, but at the same time drives up our appetite, so, we might end up eat more.

I know of the Atkin diets, but I personally think it's okay to eat lotsa rice because they burn fast (unlike bread or meat). The analogy of burning a log of wood with eating meat make sense though, but at the same time, we need hard work to initiate the fire. So, I think, as long as we exercise a lot, eating lots meat/protein instead of carbo is good.

Oh well, you have your specialists to help you with your diet. All the best scrapping some pounds off for the wedding.

I've been skipping carbohydrates for years, but Atkins doesn't seem to work that well for me. However, I've seen friends who have benefited from protein diets so i'm sure it does work...

Recently i realised that i did lose some weight too, and i guess it's about adding extra dose of veggies into my daily meals. So, no matter how much i yearn for that nasi lemak, i'll just have to stick to my protein and vegetables diet.

I totally agree that if you exercise, calories will be used up & fats will be gone too, but i'm the lazy type, so have excuses why tomorrow is a better day to workout, haha.

2 more weeks to my wedding day so i'm hoping for the best.

Yup,

Eat moderate amounts of servings & try not to indulge in dinner. As a matter of fact, some weight loss programs advise to not eat after 7pm as our metabolism tends to slow down towards the night.

Great to see husbands setting up blogs but i realised maintaining a wedding blog is not easy as there seems to be endless items that you need to consider when planning a wedding (so i'm most likely to write the blog after midnight).

I'll be posting some diet programs or menus here and then new brides (or even grooms) can test these items out!
