Malaysia’s best wedding photography & videography
I realised it was not so easy to find bridal videography in Malaysia because everyone seemed to be scattered. Anyway, i’ve compiled a list of the wedding themed video production companies you can consider.
I found 1 company that was advertising in lots of the bridal magazines locally but i actually had several prior dealings with this person and he was not handing in the videos on time for our corporate events. Therefore, although he used a different company name here, i still figured it out because i remembered the address. Needless to say i didn’t list him here.
1. Kid Chan Studios / Portrait One
- they are the most well known photo studio in this region, and i was delighted to see Kid Chan personally contacting me when i left a message in their blog.
- main focus in on photography. I had my Malaysia wedding shoot done with their team 2 weeks ago at popular wedding photography spots like the KL Train Station and of course the KLCC / Twin Towers area.
- Benny was the camera man assigned to handle our outdoor shoot & he was amazing. The photos turned out awesome & more lively than those typical bridal pose & shoot photos.
- the KL pre-wedding montage will be shown in my Malaysia wedding event in a musical video format and i’ve booked the wedding photo album (20 images per album) at the additional cost of RM1,800
- wedding photography rates for wedding dinner only would be about RM2,500
- if you choose to have Kid Chan personally snap your photos, that would be at a different rate plus you need to book early as he’s very popular with overseas shoots

2. DaveLab Motion
- we’ve also had previous dealings with Dave for our corporate videos and his team is very professional
- rates for half day wedding videography is about RM1,800
- i was supposed to book their wedding videography services for my Malaysia wedding but i forgot about it (already had their quotation details and forgot to reply with my confirmation)
- just spoke to Dave on Monday and then upon checking realised that their service for this Saturday is fully booked. The good news was that they will be starting their Hong Kong wedding video services soon.

Other reputable wedding photography & videography team include :-
- Grant Corban ( website is at www.GrantCorban.com ). When i was choosing my Eric Choong wedding gown, one of his photographers’ was there to snap photos of a new bride who was having her custom made wedding dress fitting session.
- The Photoz (website is at www.thePhotoz.com). My wedding make up artist Chynthia Lim was sharing how she’s going to Bali this June with this photography team to cater to some Malaysian couples that wanted their wedding photography done on beach / resort themes in Bali Island.
Wow, flying the whole crew there and the bridal make up artists too, that’s a huge project.

My Name is Dr David,
I am looking for an experienced wedding planner who will handle my wedding and arrange dinner for a group of people who will be attending the wedding ceremony. Seven will arrive few days before the wedding day.The wedding is expected to hold on the 19th DECEMBER, 2008 and 25 to 40 guests are expected to attend. All checks and balances will be made with you on 25th November, 2008 which is the final day of the booking, You are to arrange for a Videography, Music Entertainment, Photography, Officiant/Priest & Church, cake, flowers and hall. If there is any these items that is beyond your capability, you let us know so that another company can handle it.
