Eighteen Malaysian women will be recognised for their strengths and achievements.
THE new-generation Malaysian woman is successful and self-assured. She is able to balance traditional values with a modern outlook.
She is passionate, be it about the arts, a sport, a charity, or even her personal style. And she makes time for her passion, and more, in between hours at work.
The Malaysian Women's Weekly will recognise the strengths and achievements of 18 such women in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday.
Six of them, nominated under six categories, will receive the Great Women of Our Times Awards, presented by Montblanc.
Additionally, one nominee will receive the Most Inspiring Woman 2007 award, selected on the basis of SMS votes by the magazine's readers. Below are the nominees.
