Miss Internet Savvy to be eOneNet.com's eBusiness Ambassador

KUALA LUMPUR - The third runner-up of the Miss Malaysia/ World 2003 pageant, Chelsia Ng from Penang, was also the winner of the "Internet-savvy" subsidiary title, Miss eOneNet.com.

The 22-year-old actress, model, singer and songwriter said she used the Internet for "everything and anything."

"I use the Internet to find the best available bus service from Penang to Kuala Lumpur, chat with friends overseas, do research and browse shopping websites," said Ng.

Ng will be eOne.Net.com's "e-business ambassador" to promote the use of the Internet by individuals and business owners in Malaysia, eOne.Net.com (http://www.eonenet.com/) said in a statement last week.

"Chelsia is also using the Internet to get ideas to start a 'unique Internet business,' " said Fione Tan, president and CEO of the e-business company.

The previous winner of Miss eOneNet.com 2001 was Miss Malaysia/ World finalist Christine Lee, who is currently pursuing her studies in Australia. Miss eOneNet.com 2002 was second runner-up Michelle Hon, a marketing/ communications student who is now in Hong Kong with her modelling assignments.

eOneNet.com has been the official website sponsor for Miss Malaysia/ World since 2001. Its http://www.missmalaysia-world.com.my/ website was a nominee at the @my2001 Awards.
