MALAYSIA-BASED web site eOneNet.com
wants to encourage all local businesses to go on line and will
launch an e-business ownership campaign jointly with the SMI Association
of Malaysia and the National SMI Consultative Centre from Sept
20 till the end of year.
According the eOneNet president and CEO Fione Tan, a conferences
will be held in conjunction with the campaign and 16 CEOs and directors
of top web sites in Malaysia and Singapore will share their experience
in starting and promoting web sites.
eOneNet will also launch it's web sites on Sept 21.
"E-business is not a hype. It is a new way to do business. If
you don't jump on e-business band-wagon now, your competitors
will. We would like to see more Malaysian business to get online
to increase their competitive edge. The target audience of this
conference is the SMIs and senior executives of companies," Tan
said.

hosting service package for a fee of RM300.
Jaring, meanwhile, will sponser a business Internet account for
each of these SMIs by waving the registration fee and giving them
free Internet access worth RM50 each.
